Special Delivery Program

Special Delivery

Your Post-Partum Health Matters

Giving birth is a life-changing experience—physically, emotionally, and mentally. No matter your postpartum journey, your well-being matters. That’s why we created the Special Delivery Program - a simple, powerful way to support your health and recovery during the critical weeks after delivery. We’re here to care for you, every step of the way.

What Is the Special Delivery Program?

The Special Delivery Program provides a postpartum wristband and education tools to postpartum women before they leave the hospital. Wear this bracelet as a visual cue to remind you, your family, and any healthcare providers that your body is still healing—and that you're still at risk for complications up to a year after giving birth.

Wearing the bracelet for the first six weeks postpartum helps alert medical teams to your recent pregnancy, ensuring faster recognition and treatment of any warning signs.

Why It Matters

  • More than half of pregnancy-related deaths happen after the baby is born
  • Many serious postpartum complications are preventable when caught early
  • Postpartum health issues can appear days, weeks, or even months after delivery
  • Too often, providers may not know you've recently given birth—leading to delays in care or misdiagnosis

  • Dizziness or fainting
  • Pain in the chest
  • Seizures
  • Extreme swelling of your hands or face
