Independent assessment reinforces Saline Memorial’s commitment to high‑quality heart care
BENTON, Ark. (June 3, 2026) – Saline Memorial Hospital has earned reaccreditation as a Chest Pain Center from the American College of Cardiology, reaffirming the hospital’s ability to rapidly evaluate and treat patients with chest pain.
For patients in Saline County, the reaccreditation means faster evaluation, consistent protocols and coordinated care. The designation reflects Saline Memorial’s readiness to quickly identify chest pain, reduce time to treatment and support better outcomes for people experiencing heart attack symptoms, according to Dr. Steven B. Deitelzweig, FACC, chair of the ACC Accreditation Management Board.
“Saline Memorial Hospital has shown a strong commitment to delivering outstanding heart care to the Saline County community,” Deitelzweig said. “ACC Accreditation Services is proud to recognize Saline Memorial with Chest Pain Center Accreditation.”
Hospitals that earn Chest Pain Center Accreditation complete a rigorous, multi‑step review that evaluates how they assess, diagnose and treat patients with chest pain. The process includes a detailed gap analysis, standardized protocols, continuous quality monitoring and an onsite or virtual assessment by ACC experts.
Accredited facilities meet strict criteria and maintain coordinated teams of physicians, nurses, clinicians and support staff dedicated to improving patient education and outcomes.
Saline Memorial CEO Char Boulch said the independent accreditation from the ACC provides the community with a clear, third‑party measure of the hospital’s commitment to high‑quality heart care.
“Our team shows up for this community with consistency and heart, and this reaccreditation is one more sign of that commitment,” Boulch said. “Having an independent organization recognize our work reinforces that patients can count on the people here when it matters most.”
