Recognition strengthens access to trusted rehab care in Saline County

BENTON, Ark. (March 3, 2026) — CARF International announced that Saline Memorial Hospital has been accredited for a period of three years for its hospital inpatient rehabilitation program for adults. The latest accreditation is the second consecutive three‑year accreditation that the accrediting body has awarded to Saline Memorial Hospital.

This accreditation decision represents the highest level of accreditation that can be given to an organization and shows the hospital’s substantial conformance to CARF standards.

“Our team works with patients during some of the most challenging moments of their lives, and this accreditation affirms the level of care we strive to deliver every day,” said Karolyn Baker, director of Saline Memorial’s acute rehabilitation unit. “Earning a second consecutive three‑year accreditation reflects the dedication, compassion and clinical excellence our staff brings to every patient who trusts us with their recovery.”

An organization receiving a three‑year accreditation has gone through a rigorous peer‑review process. It has demonstrated to a team of surveyors during an on‑site visit its commitment to offering programs and services that are measurable, accountable and of the highest quality.

CARF International is an independent, nonprofit accreditor of health and human services whose mission is to promote the quality, value and optimal outcomes of services through a consultative accreditation process and continuous improvement services that center on enhancing the lives of persons served.

“This accreditation underscores the strength of our organization and the standards we hold ourselves to,” said Char Boulch, CEO of Saline Memorial Hospital. “It also reflects our commitment to the people of Saline County, who deserve access to high‑quality rehabilitation care close to home.”
