Saline Memorial Hospital hosts baby fair
July 30, 2025
Parents and other caregivers will have an opportunity to learn about services and products related to pregnancy and childcare during the Beautiful Beginnings Baby Fair at Saline Memorial Hospital from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 9.
The baby fair is a free, family-inclusive event with games, vendors, a food truck and children’s activities, like face painting, an outdoor water slide sponsored by the Saline County chapter of the Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority and a children’s room with a ball pit and climbing toys for small children.
Families that attend will have the opportunity to win prizes through diaper races and raffles that will be going on throughout the day. Two Bryant boutiques, Evie Brooks and Little Sadie James, will showcase the hottest styles for maternity wear and infants to young children at a fashion show that begins about 1:30 p.m.
“Our community has a lot to offer for growing families and parents with young children,” said Payton Mills, director of the hospital’s Women and Infants department. “We’re excited to get to highlight all the different resources and local businesses that are available.”
Organizations like Ujima Maternity Network, Arkansas Children’s Hospital, Rhea Lana’s of Benton-Bryant, Sweet Treats Lactation Treats, Baby Bliss Ultrasound and more will be sharing information at tables in the atrium. Plus, Build-A-Bear Workshop will be on hand to create special moments for pregnant moms and children in attendance. (Free bears are limited to the first 50 children and/or pregnant moms.)
“The baby fair is our way of coming together as a community to celebrate with growing families and families with young children,” CEO Char Boulch said. “We invite the community to take a break from the heat and see what Saline County has to offer for parents and families!”
