The Emergency Department at Saline Memorial Hospital is a Level III trauma center, which means it has demonstrated the ability to provide advanced trauma life support (ATLS) prior to the transfer of patients to a higher-level trauma center.
Saline Memorial is also a designated stroke center, utilizing telemedicine through UAMS Institute for Digital Health & Innovation's Stroke Program.
Saline Memorial Hospital has demonstrated its commitment to providing expert care for patients with chest pain by earning accreditation as a Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI through the American College of Cardiology. The accreditation process required an in-depth review of the hospital’s processes and systems from admission to post-discharge care to ensure the best possible outcomes for heart patients.
