Living Stories: Real Conversations About Mental Health

Date: Saturday, May 9, 2026
Time: 10:00 AM

Living Stories: Real Conversations About Mental Health brings powerful, personal experiences to life through meaningful, one-to-one and small group conversations. In this interactive event, individuals become “books,” sharing their journeys with anxiety, depression, grief, recovery and more. Attendees are invited to “check out” a story and take part in open, respectful dialogue that fosters understanding and connection. By creating a safe space to listen and learn, Living Stories helps break down stigma, build empathy and remind us that no one is alone in their mental health journey.

Watch our Facebook page at Facebook.com/SalineMemorialHospital as we reveal the titles/topics of the living stories!

Disclaimer: Our Living Stories features both licensed mental health professionals and individuals sharing lived experiences. Each perspective offers valuable insight; however, these are brief, informal conversations and do not allow for a full personal history or assessment. Conversations are intended for education and connection only and should not be considered medical or therapeutic advice.
