Imaging/Radiology

The Saline Memorial Diagnostic Imaging Department is a comprehensive service providing sophisticated imaging technology 24-hours a day, seven days a week. Services are provided to patients of all ages both at the Diagnostic Imaging Center located within the hospital and at the bedside.

For each modality, there are technologists who are certified and state-licensed to safely operate the imaging equipment.

One of the technological advancements in Diagnostic Imaging is the film-less Picture Archival Communication System (PACS), which allows X-Rays to be taken, stored and read digitally on a computer. This allows physicians the convenience and speed of computer access to read patient x-rays when on-site or away from the hospital.

Services provided by the Diagnostic Imaging Center include:

Computerized Tomography Scan (64 slice CT Scan)
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (M.R.I.)
Nuclear Medicine
Ultrasound
Routine Diagnostic X-Ray
Upper and Lower G.I. Exams
