The SMH
Emergency Department cares for patients seeking immediate
treatment for medical or surgical emergencies. We initiate
life saving procedures in all types of emergencies as well as
provide care for other conditions and minor injuries. We have
an around the clock team of Emergency Physicians, RN, and
support staff.
The new 15,597 sq. ft. SMH Emergency Department offers 14
examination rooms including three specialty trauma rooms.

Ambulance Team |
|
|
SMH owns
and operates MedTran Ambulance Service which is responsible
for providing emergency medical response and pre-hospital
care, as well as, medically necessary transfers of patients
between facilities.
Med-Tran is managed by an experienced EMT-Paramedic Team and
has shift supervisors on staff seven days-a-week, twenty-four
hours a day. |
