Saline Memorial Hospital is an active community partner participating in health fairs, neighborhood and communitywide events, and health-related organizational fundraisers. Additional community support is provided in a variety of ways ranging from free ambulance service at high school athletic events, hosting educational seminars and fairs to memberships in several local Chamber of Commerce and organizational groups.

Community Relations

Saline Memorial Hospital believes that the community plays a vital role in the lives of our patients and families. For that reason, we involve the community as much as possible in activities that promote SMH and health. The Community Relations Department is in charge of planning programs and activities that promote good will. Community Relations works on developing relationships with community leaders in an effort to work together to meet the needs of our public.

SMH participates in selected fairs and events around the state related to community health. Booth activities may include free blood pressure testing, glucose screenings or finger casting. A wide variety of health education materials and giveaways are also distributed.
