The Cardiopulmonary Department, located on the 1st floor at Saline Memorial Hospital, offers a wide range of testing and various forms of therapy. Our respiratory therapists are trained in identifying and treating lung and breathing disorders, performing chest exams, managing ventilators and artificial airway devices and responding to emergency situations.

Heart Station

The SMH Heart Station is a specialized function of the Cardiopulmonary Department that focuses on diagnosing a variety of heart-related disorders. Studies provide physicians with information concerning heart valves, heart muscle and the coronary arteries as well as possible congenital heart abnormalities.
