Most people have some form of hospital insurance. Saline Memorial Hospital will accept insurance only if we can verify that your policy is in force and that the benefits are assigned to the hospital. If your insurance cannot be verified by the time you are discharged, you are expected to be personally responsible for the payment of the full hospital bill. When your insurance has been verified, the patient's share of the bill is due at the time of billing. Payments may be made with credit cards that the hospital accepts, cash, check, money order, or outside lending institutions. Approximately four days after you have been discharged, a bill will be issued to the insurance company. Follow-up will be made with the insurance company thirty (30) days after the billing date.

Payments:
We would like to talk to you about our billing and payment policy as frankly as we can. We are sure you realize as much as we do that the cost of hospital services has increased. We have done and will continue to do our best to keep our costs down. At the same time, we are sure that you will be prompt and considerate in meeting your obligations to the hospital.

A cashier is also available Monday - Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. After regular business hours and weekends, assistance is available at ER registration area.

Payment Arrangement:
All patient balances are due within (10) days of receipt of statement unless prior arrangements are made. Patients can call 501.776.6069 to discuss payment arrangements

Itemized Bills:
For your convenience, itemized bills will be provided upon request. Please call the Business Office at 501.776.6069.

Assistance Program:
Saline Memorial Hospital has several programs available to help assist patients with their financial responsibilities. Please call the Business Office at 501.776.6069.

Separate Billing:
You may receive a separate bill from the following medical specialists: Physicians, Radiologists, Anesthesiologists and Pathologists. These practitioners are not employees of Saline Memorial Hospital.
