Outlets of Little Rock to host a sneak peek shopping night


Outlets of Little Rock will host a sneak peek shopping night Thursday, Oct. 15, the night before the grand opening.

The "Open Doors. Open Hearts" Charity Preview Night will provide guests an exclusive first look at the new 325,000-square-foot open air outlet center with an evening of shopping, savings, prize giveaways, entertainment and more.

Attendees will be able to designate a local nonprofit to which 100 percent of the ticket proceeds will be donated. Participating charities include ACCESS Group Inc., Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arkansas, Boys and Girls Club of Central Arkansas, Centers for Youth and Families, Civitan Services, First Tee of Central Arkansas, Girl Scouts Diamonds of Arkansas, Group Living Inc., Habitat for Humanity of Saline County, Imagination Library of Saline County, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Little Rock Zoo, National Championship Bull Riders, Our House, Our Promise Cancer Resources, Pulaski Tech Foundation, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Arkansas, Saline Memorial Hospital Foundation, Women Lead Arkansas and Women's Shelter of Central Arkansas.

"Outlets of Little Rock is proud to give back to our surrounding communities with this fun event for shoppers," said Melissa Boyle, Outlets of Little Rock marketing director. "Not only does it benefit the participating organizations by supporting their fundraising efforts, but it also educates the public and increases general awareness of the charities' missions in a very visible way."

During the checkout process, purchasers will be able to designate the local nonprofit to which 100 percent of the ticket proceeds will be donated. Tickets are limited and will most likely sell out early. The Oct. 15 event, to be held from 5 to 9 p.m., will also feature samplings of food and drink.
